Author: Sari March Schnepf Terry
My name is Sari March Schnepf Terry, and I am a survivor of childhood abuse, domestic violence, and cancer. I share my story not to dwell on the past, but to inspire others who may be facing similar challenges. My journey has been one of triumph over adversity, and I believe that anything is possible if you have the courage to never give up.
Childhood Abuse
My childhood was marked by physical, emotional, and sexual abuse at the hands of my father. I was constantly terrified and felt like I had no one to turn to. The abuse left me feeling worthless and ashamed, and I struggled with depression and anxiety for many years.
Domestic Violence
As an adult, I found myself in an abusive relationship with my husband. He was controlling and manipulative, and he often threatened me with violence. I was isolated from my friends and family, and I felt like I had nowhere to turn. One night, after he had beaten me, I finally decided to leave.
Cancer
Just when I thought I had overcome the challenges of my past, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was devastated, but I was determined to fight. I underwent surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, and after a long and difficult battle, I am now cancer-free.
Triumph Over Adversity
My journey has been one of pain and suffering, but it has also been one of triumph. I have overcome adversity time and time again, and I am stronger than I have ever been. I am now a successful author, speaker, and advocate for survivors of abuse and domestic violence. I am dedicated to helping others who have faced similar challenges, and I believe that anything is possible if you have the courage to never give up.
My story is a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope. No matter what challenges you may face, never give up on yourself. You are stronger than you think, and you can overcome anything.
