In March 2016, I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The doctors gave me a 5% chance of survival, and they told me that I had only a few months to live. I was devastated. I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for. I had a young family, and I wanted to see my children grow up. I didn't want to leave my wife a widow.

I started to pray. I prayed every day, and I prayed for a miracle. I prayed for God to heal me. I prayed for God to give me more time with my family. I prayed for God to give me a second chance at life.

One day, I was praying in my bedroom, and I felt a warm sensation all over my body. I opened my eyes, and I saw a bright light in the corner of the room. I knew that it was Jesus. He was standing there, smiling at me.

"I am here to heal you," Jesus said.

I started to cry. I couldn't believe that Jesus was here, in my bedroom, talking to me. I reached out my hand, and I took His hand. He pulled me to my feet, and I stood there, amazed. I was healed.

The doctors were amazed. They couldn't believe that I was still alive, let alone that I was healed. They said that it was a miracle. I knew that it was Jesus who had healed me. He had given me a second chance at life.

I am so grateful to Jesus for healing me. I am so grateful that I have been given a second chance at life. I am so grateful that I have been able to spend more time with my family. I am so grateful that I have been able to see my children grow up. I am so grateful that I have been able to continue to serve God.

If you are facing a terminal illness, or if you know someone who is, I encourage you to pray to Jesus. He is the Great Physician. He can heal you. He can give you a second chance at life.

• Pray in faith. Believe that God can heal you.
• Pray specifically. Ask God for what you need.
• Pray persistently. Pray every day, and don't give up.
• Pray with others. Pray with your family and friends, or with a prayer group.
• Pray in the name of Jesus. Jesus is the Great Physician. He has the power to heal you.

• Psalm 103:3: "He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."

• 1 Peter 2:24: "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed."
