In March 2016, I was diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer. The doctors gave me a 5% chance of survival, and they told me that I had only a few months to live. I was devastated. I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for. I had a young family, and I wanted to see my children grow up. I didn't want to leave my wife a widow.
I started to pray. I prayed every day, and I prayed for a miracle. I prayed for God to heal me. I prayed for God to give me more time with my family. I prayed for God to give me a second chance at life.
One day, I was praying in my bedroom, and I felt a warm sensation all over my body. I opened my eyes, and I saw a bright light in the corner of the room. I knew that it was Jesus. He was standing there, smiling at me.
"I am here to heal you," Jesus said.
I started to cry. I couldn't believe that Jesus was here, in my bedroom, talking to me. I reached out my hand, and I took His hand. He pulled me to my feet, and I stood there, amazed. I was healed.
The doctors were amazed. They couldn't believe that I was still alive, let alone that I was healed. They said that it was a miracle. I knew that it was Jesus who had healed me. He had given me a second chance at life.
I am so grateful to Jesus for healing me. I am so grateful that I have been given a second chance at life. I am so grateful that I have been able to spend more time with my family. I am so grateful that I have been able to see my children grow up. I am so grateful that I have been able to continue to serve God.
If you are facing a terminal illness, or if you know someone who is, I encourage you to pray to Jesus. He is the Great Physician. He can heal you. He can give you a second chance at life.
How to Pray for Healing
If you are sick, or if you know someone who is, you can pray for healing. Here are some tips on how to pray for healing:
- Pray in faith. Believe that God can heal you.
- Pray specifically. Ask God for what you need.
- Pray persistently. Pray every day, and don't give up.
- Pray with others. Pray with your family and friends, or with a prayer group.
- Pray in the name of Jesus. Jesus is the Great Physician. He has the power to heal you.
Scriptures for Prayer
Here are some scriptures that you can use for prayer:
- Psalm 103:3: "He forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."
- Isaiah 53:5: "But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."
- James 5:14-15: "Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven."
- 1 Peter 2:24: "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed."
I hope that this article has been helpful to you. I pray that you will be healed, and that you will walk out of untimely death. May God bless you.
In His service,
John Doe
